Meditation

Meditation is a skill that anyone can learn and when practiced regularly changes our state of being, physically mentally and emotionally. Meditation can be in any form of focused attention, during a relaxed activity (sitting, walking). It is a practice to take back control over our incessant thinking mind and become more present in the now. It takes patience and perseverance to achieve a regular mediation practice. Meditating with others can also help you stay focused, and meditating in a group amplifies the benefits of this ancient practice. Carving out time in the day for even short periods of meditation will be worth the effort.
